Two ways of cleaning a microwave

Put two glasses of water in a bowl, add lemon juice and place the mixture in the microwave. Put maximum power for 3 or 4 minutes or until the water is very hot. Leave it to rest for 10 minutes. The steam softens the splashes that may be on the walls of the microwave and the lemon removes the smell of food that may have remained in the microwave. Wipe with a clean mico-fibre cloth.

Remove the plate, let it cool down and then wash it with water in the diswasher. Dry it well. Clean the interior of the microwave with a micro-fibre cloth dampened in the hot water with lemon that we used to soften the splashes. Clean the door on the inside and the outside. Dry well with a cloth. Replace the plate and the rim of the caster and leave the door ajar so that it can completely dry.
