Cleaning of Wooden Floors

To clean parquet or varnished wooden floors daily, first thing to do is to vacuum or to pass the dry mop or to sweep it in order to avoid accummulating dust.  The stains that can be removed with the help of a humid mop, without soaking the wood so as not to lose its luster.

We have to mop the floors with clean water and a clean, clear mop well every 15 days.  A drop of vinegar gives more luster to the wood.  It is advisable to do this with windows open in order to avoid retaining the smell of vinegar inside the house.  There is a need to check two to three times a year the protection of the chairs, wood and doors in order to prevent scratches on the wood.  We can also protect the floor and passage areas with carpets.  We have to take special care of the areas where the sun, above all where there are darker woods, by bringing down the blinds or closing the curtains in times with more sun.
